Overdue Fines
When a fine is not paid by the due date on the summons you will be convicted of the infraction and the fine will be Overdue. All overdue fines must be paid before any motor vehicle service can be performed for you. The ticket numbers are not required when paying overdue fines.
Your Payment options are:
1. You may stop by our office in person to pay with debit, cash, credit card (additional fee applies) certified cheque, or money order.
2. For tickets older than two years you can pay online:
1. Email a request to onlineservices@edmontonregistry.com. Please include your driver’s licence/ID card number and name.
2. We will review your file and email you a link that will contain the details on the cost and allow you to enter your credit card information for secure payment. This email will have the subject line “Invoice from In & Out Registry”
3. Once you have submitted payment an agent will process your request
3. For overdue fines less than two years old you can pay through MyAlberta.
Transaction Fee = $9.00 per ticket (incl GST)
Current Fines
Current fines are tickets that have not passed their court date. They can be paid in three ways:
- By presenting your ticket at the registry office. Payments made in person can be done using debit card, cash, or credit card (extra fees apply).
- By paying here online. Paying online takes 72 hours to process.
- By visiting the courthouse. The address of the applicable courthouse can be found on the ticket.
Transaction Fee = $9.00 per ticket (incl GST)
