The term "personal property" includes property such as cars, household and personal items, industrial or farming equipment or aircraft. We provide facilities to search the Personal Property Registry to avoid possible legal conflicts. All searches are for Alberta registered liens only. All information that is stored in Alberta Personal Property Registry Electronic System (APPRES) is public.

Business Name (debtor) Search

This search will report all securities charged against the business name including personal property liens. It is very important that the full legal name of the business be used.

Purchase Alberta Business Lien Search

Individual Name (debtor) Search

This search will report all securities charged against the personal name including personal property liens. It is very important that the full legal name of the person be used. The date of birth is also helpful although not a requirement.

Purchase Alberta Personal Debtor Search

Serial Number Search

This search will report all securities charged against a specific piece of personal property. You must provide a serial number and detailed description of the property.
